It is impossible to dispute that sense of belonging affects our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. CircleTalk is a conversation program guided by an eloquent curriculum. CircleTalk leaders guide small groups into meaningful discussions, engaging all and making connection and sense of belonging a key experience for all.

 

Why is CircleTalk unique? Does it make a difference?

CircleTalk is a field-tested and research-driven program based on best practices in healthy group dynamics. It can happen in any setting where people gather. Participants become familiar with each other quickly and are encouraged to fully participate in activities and discussions. Groups form substantial bonds with each other and a high level of trust and belonging as they are guided by CircleTalk Leaders.

 

At the heart of individual and collective well-being, individuals must feel a sense of belonging to something and to feel accepted and known. Research on the CircleTalk participant experience point to the multifaceted benefits of sharing life experiences for adults in weekly group meetings. On average, the participants experienced:

  • a significant reduction in feelings of isolation
  • an increased perception of well-being described as feeling a part of a community, feeling appreciated, having meaningful interactions with others, and feeling more energized

Where do CircleTalk groups happen?

CircleTalk can be an in-person program or a virtual group and occur in any community where people are seeking or needing more connection with each other, or are newcomers and would benefit from caring community.
